1. Data stored in your browser
Saved items, read history, appearance settings, recent searches (up to 10 terms), changelog read status, and feedback drafts are stored in your browser. Your list position, scroll position, and expanded sections are stored only for the current tab session and are cleared when that tab closes. None of this is sent to the server. Clearing browser data removes it, and it does not sync across devices. You can export and import saved items, read history, and appearance settings on the Saved page.
2. Feedback
Feedback you submit, an optional email address, the page URL at submission, and any screenshot you choose to attach are stored on the server so we can handle your feedback. If the site is configured to forward feedback to an internal chat group (Feishu/Lark), feedback goes there; after a screenshot is uploaded to that service, the server no longer retains it. To prevent abuse, the server stores a non-reversible identifier calculated from your network address and browser category for rate limits and abuse blocks.
3. Email signups
Draft wording. The operator must review and approve this section before launch.
If you join the email list, we store your email address, the page you signed up on, and the date. We use the address only to send the email edition, which has not started yet. We never sell your address. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address at any time, by replying to an email from us or by contacting us (see "Contact us"). Your network address and browser details are not stored with your signup; to limit abuse, the server briefly holds a non-reversible identifier calculated from them in memory.
4. Server and network logs
This software does not collect visitor analytics by default. Your server, reverse proxy, or CDN may log visits according to its configuration, including IP address, visit time, page URL, and browser information. Describe the services you actually use and their retention periods here.
5. Third-party content
This site shows summaries of and links to content from other sources. If you follow an original-source link, you visit that source's site and its privacy policy applies.
6. Contact us
Provide contact details and explain how people can request access to, correction of, or deletion of their feedback data and email address.
