AIThree Axiom engineers had OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra drive a 2024 Toyota Corolla to an In-N-Out drive-thru through a server linked to cameras and power steering, with a safety driver ready to brake. They also built a parking-lot benchmark, DrivingBench, where Astra completed the course slowly, Claude Fable 5.1 finished 45 percent, and Grok finished 11 percent.
AIGoogle launched SynthID.com, letting users upload an image or video to check whether it was made with AI. The tool detects only content created with tools from Google, OpenAI, Nvidia, and Kakao, and it requires signing in with a Google, Apple, or ChatGPT account. Gizmodo's tests found Gemini and Grok gave inaccurate or unsupported answers about AI-generated images, so the results should not be treated as definitive.
eric zakariasson@ericzakariassonAI score16AIxAI's Grok Bot 0.68.1 lets bots build slide decks delivered as PowerPoint or Google Slides and send formatted emails directly from a draft card. The update also gives 1:1 chat messages the color of the Bot and speeds up computer use on a 1920x1200 screen.

Max Zeff@ZeffMaxAI score22AIElon Musk said SpaceX will use the best back-end model for each task, including Claude Opus 5.5, Midjourney, and Suno, for Grok's responses. The main post from Max Zeff only says "Interesting," so the summary is limited to Musk's stated routing plan.
Miles Brundage@Miles_BrundageAI score22AIElon Musk says SpaceX will use the best back-end model for each task, including Claude Opus 5.5, Midjourney, Suno, and other leading APIs. The main post is only an eye emoji, so its own content adds nothing beyond the quoted note about Grok's routing.
lauren@potetoAI score31AIGrok Bot will now use the best backend model for each task, including Claude Opus 5.5, MidJourney, Suno, and other leading APIs. The change is framed as choosing whatever is most likely to produce the best outcome for users.
meng shao@shao__mengAI score52AIThe xAI Cookbook now has ten runnable Grok API examples across three tracks: real-time voice agents, multimodal generation, and live X data analysis. The author says four voice examples show the same Realtime Voice API across WebSocket, WebRTC, Twilio phone, and mobile transports. The four multimodal examples chain understanding, image generation or editing, video, and TTS, with Grok making creative decisions and Imagine models executing them.
lauren@potetoAI score36AIX has launched @bot tagging that lets users reply to any post with commands like adding items to a Notion reading list, setting reminders, summarizing threads, or drafting replies. It works in replies, posts, and quotes, and routes requests to the user's Grok Bot.
SpaceXAI@SpaceXAIAI score38AIGrok 4.7 is now available on Microsoft Foundry. The post announces the model's availability on the platform without additional details on features, pricing, or benchmarks.

eric zakariasson@ericzakariassonAI score22AIGrok can turn a pasted article or PDF into a podcast where two hosts discuss the content. Each script line is voiced as soon as it is written, so playback begins before the full script is finished. The example code is available in the xai-cookbook repository on GitHub.
eric zakariasson@ericzakariassonAI score22AIThe xai-cookbook's x-sentiment-tracker lets users pick a topic, then has Grok run one X search per day over the last 10 days and score each post from -1 to +1. The dashboard displays the sentiment split, day-by-day movement, and the posts behind each score.
eric zakariasson@ericzakariassonAI score37AIThe xai-cookbook example uses Grok to generate a Tailwind React component from a dropped-in screenshot. The page then screenshots its own render, overlays it on the original, and feeds the mismatches back so Grok can refine the layout, raising the match from 60% to 77% in one run.
eric zakariasson@ericzakariassonAI score32AIA pipeline built with Grok takes a single product photo and produces an eight-second vertical ad, writing the brief, generating three scenes, selecting the best one, animating it, and adding a voiceover. Each run costs about $1.35, and the code is available in the xai-cookbook repository on GitHub.
eric zakariasson@ericzakariassonAI score36AIxAI's storyboard-to-film example uses grok-4.7 to plan four shots from a one-line premise, then Grok Imagine draws and animates each one with text-to-speech narration. Every shot is an edit of the first keyframe, which keeps the main character consistent across scenes. The code is available in the xai-cookbook repository on GitHub.
ARC Prize@arcprizeAI score39AIARC Prize reports that Grok 4.7's reasoning-token usage correlates with its ARC-AGI-2 public scores. The low setting averaged about 10k tokens per test-pair attempt and scored 25%, while medium through xhigh used 86k to 120k tokens and scored 57.5% to 60%. ARC Prize suggests the lower token usage may help explain the low setting's lower score.
