ChatGPT desktop app adds pets and a compact Mini mode

OpenAI's ChatGPT desktop app now lets users pick a pet that tracks their chats while they are away from the app, and start new chats directly from it. Users who don't want a pet can choose Mini, a compact version with the same shortcuts and updates that takes up less screen space. The option is set in the desktop app settings.
