Claude Code adds Projects that coordinate multiple parallel sessions

AISummary

Anthropic's Claude Code is rolling out Projects on desktop and web, in beta for select users. A project splits work into threads, runs them as parallel cloud sessions, passes context between them, and keeps running after the user leaves. The author says Claude keeps context across tasks and can give an aggregated status update on request.

In the new Projects experience, Claude coordinates all of your sessions.

I've been using it every day since it lets me operate at a higher level of abstraction. I fire off a batch of tasks and move on. Claude has context on everything I'm working on and can give me an aggregated status update whenever I ask. It also has long-lived memory that evolves as I use it.

We're rolling this out over the coming weeks. Let me know what you think!

Today we're rolling out Projects in Claude Code on desktop and web. A project is one conversation with Claude. It splits the work into threads itself, runs them as parallel cloud sessions, passes context between them, and keeps going when you leave. In beta for select users.
