Ben Tossell says AI tools fail non-technical users and must improve

AISummary

Ben Tossell argues that AI products are not good enough for semi-technical users like himself, who are neither developers nor casual consumers. He says companies should stop blaming users for poor experiences and make their products better, since current results hurt the broader AI narrative. His reply to his own earlier post calls his experience with dot "💩".

@bentossell

look i get it must be great for some people.

but if someone like me (not technical but not normie) experiences this kind of thing, its not good enough.

stop making it a user problem or skill issue. make stuff better.

the narrative isn’t helped when this is the experience.

my dot experience so far has been 💩
