Mira Murati said Thinking Machines is building machine intelligence to expand human will and judgment, and welcomed Neil Chowdhury to help make that future safe. Chowdhury, who joined Thinking Machines to work on safety and alignment, said he wants safety systems that let control over AI be shared widely rather than concentrated in a few hands.
